MA Automotive Wins Major Contract to Supply Parts for BMW’s G45 Model

MA Automotive recently secured a substantial contract to supply key components for the upcoming BMW G45 model, scheduled for production in early 2025. With its head office in Italy, the South African-based supplier will provide critical parts for BMW’s new model, focusing on quality assurance and sustainable practices as it prepares for large-scale production.
Located near BMW’s Rosslyn plant, MA Automotive has expanded its production capacity to meet customer demands, with recent investments in advanced assembly & measurement equipment. The selection process involved meeting stringent quality, cost, and reliability requirements, which MA Automotive met with a blend of world-class production & quality processes.
“Our proximity to BMW’s plant played a part in our selection,” says an MA Automotive spokesperson, “but meeting BMW’s rigorous quality standards and focusing on eco-friendly production were essential for us to win this contract.”
Workforce Training and Technological Advancements
The company has also prioritized workforce training, including specialized courses on advanced manufacturing and quality assurance processes. Some team members have undergone training in Germany to develop expertise directly related to BMW’s standards, a factor that has played a crucial role in the project’s preparation.
